FRCPC - Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine

I completed medical school and graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (Dublin) in 1999. Following this, I completed Internal Medicine training program (2002-2005) at the University of Toronto - Canada followed by Critical Care fellowship both in at London Ontario and the University of Toronto.

After completing my Critical Care training, I worked in different hospitals in Toronto - Canada as a consultant Internist and Intensivist. I returned back to Kuwait towards the end of 2016, and joined forces in the Ministry of Health - Kuwait. I was the head of ICU services in Mubarak Alkabeer Hospital for two years before moving to the ICU at Ahmadi Hospital - Kuwait Oil Company in October 2018 till current.

During COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered to work at COVID-19 ICU services in Jaber Alahmad Hospital (Kuwait’s main COVID ICU Hospital for COVID) from April 2020 till October 2021.
